Some guy is being mean to me!
At school today they announced that they're going to be a dance!!!! A 50s themed dance which is so totally awesome! Poodle skirts and stuff and there's going to be 50s music and a milkshake and malt bar and all that stuff!
Plus there's going to be a dance off, like in Grease when all the couples dance until they get tapped out?
But you don't have to have a couple you can just enter it with a friend too!
It's on Friday the 23rd so not quite two weeks! I'm excited!
Griffin, will you come with me?
And Emily you should see if you can get that night off, we can get someone to sign you in!!

Talking to Noah about books made me want to write a list of my favourite books. Cause I love to read a lot and have a lot of favourites. And always want to read new stuff!!

Oh my gosh I was reading the paper online and there was an article about how in New York there's a store that's putting cupcake ATMs over the city!
So like, you can go and get a cupcake any time of the day if you want one!
And the cupcake ATMs will be pink!
That is a pretty awesome idea. To be able to just go and get one cupcake whenever? Pretty great.

Oh my gosh Em, you should see the shoes Griffin got me for my birthday!!!
They are totally the cutest things you have ever seen, ever.
They're pink with high heels and like little flowery things on the strap up the middle and okay, really hard to explain but so so cute.
I think I've eaten like ten cupcakes in the past 36 hours!

It's my birthday today!!!!! I'm 18!! Which is like, an adult, except I don't really feel like an adult or anything. But technically I am! 18 sounds really important even though it's really just another number and stuff!! I wish mom and dad were here to celebrate with me
Me and Emily made cupcakes for it and look aren't they really pretty? We took a picture.
We made them all extra pretty and stuff, and they taste really really good too. I've already eaten one for breakfast. It was great!!
I wish there was a shop that sold only cupcakes, that would be really awesome don't you think? And really pretty too!

I gave up chewing gum for Lent.
It's harder than I thought!
I was going to give up chocolate, but then I decided not to because my birthday is in Lent and I'd want chocolate cake and stuff. So I gave up chewing gum. And it's tricky!
I really like chewing gum and blowing bubbles. And it's always good for after lunch when you don't have your toothbrush!
I had to take all the packs of Hubba Bubba out of my backpack and purse so I wouldn't be tempted.
It's a long time till Easter!

I sort of missed writing in this thing. When it just stopped working, it was weird not seeing words written by everyone else, just mine. I'm glad that they work again! Except for why they work again It's always nice to see what people are doing except for the mean people and to read about peoples lives and stuff. And to be able to say hi without going across town or something.
Now I'll have to dig out all my pretty pens again. I think they're all in my pencil case for school, for taking notes. I got this really pretty sparkly set and I haven't used them much because my English teacher says that I shouldn't pass assignments in in sparkly flourescent pink and purple. I don't know why.

I really miss them.
And I miss home. It's weird to not be sitting in my room writing in this. And not to have mom write to me and tell me to come down for supper or dad to correct my spelling mistakes.
I want to go home and I want them to be there and I just wish everything would go back to the way it was.

During the rebellion and subsequent fighting, Addy, along with his parents and Griffin, went into hiding at one of the safe houses. His parents attempted to do their part, but wanted to keep the teenagers safe. On September 29th, 2011, Addy and his parents were at a meeting with many other humans at Eden. Unbeknownst to them, a bomb had been planted, and it detonated, destroying the place and killing many people inside. Addy’s parents were among those killed and Addy was crushed by falling debris. He was in a coma, and suffered a broken arm and leg, which were set and splinted by field medics. When he awoke, he was in the clinic, and the fighting was over. He heard that his former safe house had been destroyed, and thought Griffin among the dead. As he was unable to leave the hospital bed, he didn’t find otherwise until Griffin happened upon the clinic and their paths crossed. Since then, they have been trying to put their lives back together.

I think it will be a good episode and happy too, after last weeks episode, which was really really intense! But really really good, too.

I got my test results back and it was just the regular flu. Yay! And I'm feeling better now.
It's kind of weird but I'm actually starting to miss school. Especially when I have to sit and do my homework and there's no one around to talk to - well Mom and Dad, but no one from my classes.
And I miss hanging out at lunch and oooh cheerleader tryouts, I really wanted to do those!
But then I always think that I'm really lucky and so I shouldn't complain about things.

Kitty and Riku's wedding today!!!!
It's going to be so awesome! Kitty will look super duper pretty, and I love the bridesmaids dress I get to wear!!
I love weddings. I've only ever been to one before, and this one is going to be even better!!

This has been a pretty good week of school, but I'm glad it's the weekend! I have some homework, but not too much, which is good! I'm going to be working a bit at Luxe tomorrow and otherwise, just homework, relaxing, practicing cheers with Emily (the tryouts are in a week and a bit!!) and spending time with Griffin, of course. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
We had a funny substitute this week. Because our teacher has been out sick. With some icky flu thing. For several days! But the substitute was funny and did magic tricks. Which were cool.
And now I'm going to have some hot chocolate. Because it's a bit nippy out today!

I can't believe school starts on Wednesday!!!!!
Eeeee!
I'm excited to see what my classes will be like! And I always like getting to use school supplies at first, when they all seem so nice and new! I got lots of really pretty pens. Sparkly ones in pink and purple and turquoise and I can't wait to use them! They'll make my notes look so pretty!!
And this week won't be bad cause it's only three days and then a long weekend! Labour Day weekend is always so nice with barbecues and things!!

I'm making cupcakes for Aslan right now. They're cooling so I can frost them. They're going to look so pretty!

I went to the thrift store on my lunch break and they had old cheerleader uniforms there - not exactly like the ones the squad wears now, like the ones from a while ago.
Anyway, I bought two so we can practice the routines in them the next few weeks before school starts!
I just need to take them in a bit so you're going to have to let me measure you to make sure I get it right!!

I've been thinking about what I'm going to do in school this year. My schedule's pretty good this year, I think!
First semester I have English 11, Biology 11, Home Ec and Dance.
Second semester I have World History, Foundations Math 11, Child Studies and Art 11.
I am going to be part of the GSA of course, again this year.
But!!! I think I want to join cheerleading this year!!! Now that I'm a Junior and everything!
I think it would be super fun and the outfits are so cute! And I love dancing and things like that! It looks pretty awesome so I'm going to try out! I think I could be pretty good at it! I'm good with gymnastic-y type things! ☺
